About TechRec Recycling

TechRec was founded with a simple yet impactful mission: to contribute to a cleaner planet by responsibly recycling electronic waste.
 

The journey began in March 2023 when our founder, Zachary Myers, started repairing and reselling Chromebooks. While recycling broken parts through third-party companies, he realized the importance of managing the recycling process firsthand. This realization led to the official launch of TechRec Recycling, dedicated to sustainable e-waste management and IT asset disposition.

Since our inception, we have successfully recycled over two million pounds of electronics—and we’re just getting started.
